Hey, I’m Roy Zeagler 👋
Freelance Web Developer & Owner of Zeagler Agricultural
I’ve worn a lot of hats in my life—father, entrepreneur, tech nerd, trucker, fixer-of-everything, and a guy who somehow manages to enjoy both code and carburetors.
Since 2021, I’ve ran Zeagler Agricultural, my own drayage trucking company, hauling freight in and out of the Port of Savannah. I don’t just drive—I manage operations, deal with shippers, coordinate with guards and crane operators, and keep the wheels turning (literally and figuratively). But after years of running my own business from behind the wheel, I’m looking to shift gears—this time into tech.
Why tech? Because it’s creative, ever-changing, and—unlike rush hour at the port—there’s always something new to build, break, or improve. Whether it’s designing websites, working on WordPress themes, automating processes, diving into cybersecurity, or wiring up a live USB Linux system that actually sticks—I’m all in. I’ve always loved figuring things out, and tech gives me a lot to figure out.
I’m not just a “tinkerer”—I’ve got real skills:
- Web Development (HTML, CSS/SCSS, Bootstrap 5, WordPress, AJAX, custom themes, form handling)
- Graphic Design (Photoshop, layout design, branding)
- Technical Troubleshooting (networks, hardware, you name it)
- Cybersecurity (currently studying + prepping for certifications like Security+ and CRTP)
- Photography & Videography (because sometimes the best way to tell your story is through a lens 📸)
- Project Management (whether it’s running freight logistics or building a custom WordPress setup from scratch)
When I’m not elbows deep in grease, you’ll probably find me elbows deep in code, learning a new Linux trick, or brainstorming my next DIY project that may or may not require a fire extinguisher.
So if you’re looking for someone who’s part creative, part technical, and all-in on getting the job done right (with a few dad jokes thrown in), you’re in the right place.
On the personal side, I’m a husband, proud dad of three awesome kids, and a believer in self-reliance, honesty, and always keeping your sense of humor. I’ve been through enough in life to know that resilience matters more than credentials—and that being able to laugh 😂, even in the tough moments, makes everything easier to carry.
